There are so many places in the world where help is needed. To get started, we have decided to support partner organizations in India and Yemen.
Despite the country's efforts to combat poverty, malnutrition continues to affect rural areas in particular. This is exacerbated by the increasing frequency of droughts caused by climate change. India remains one of the 20 countries with the highest rates of malnutrition and undernourishment in children in the world.
In January 2024, more than half of the households surveyed by WFP in Yemen (52%) did not have access to adequate food, an increase of 6% compared to the previous year (Source: WFP, 2024 ).
The 7-year civil war in Yemen and the war in Ukraine are causing food prices to rise. The country is in an economic crisis. Among the starving population, there are approximately 2.7 million children under the age of 5 who are acutely malnourished (Source: UNICEF, 2024 ).
100.000Distribute meals
For us, transparent goals and communication are our top priority when it comes to projects and collaborations. Together with our local partner organization, we determine what we want to achieve.
After successful financing, an alternative project will be supported in Phase 2. This will finance meals for children in Nepal and Somalia. Click here to see the current project with Action Against Hunger and the UN World Food Programme .
