Our goal
Together with KICKFAIR and Rheinflanke, we are committed to helping more young people recognize and develop their abilities through innovative sports programs. This can open up opportunities, create a foundation for integration, and thus improve future prospects.

Inequality in Germany
In Germany, one in six children does not have equal opportunities, and one in seven is at risk of poverty. Those from educationally disadvantaged or low-income households have significantly lower chances of attending a Gymnasium (grammar school), achieving good grades, or securing stable career prospects. According to the Opportunities Monitor, the probability of children from disadvantaged backgrounds attending a Gymnasium is around 26.7%, compared to 59.8% for children from more privileged households.
Our commitment

Where are we active?
Everyday discrimination and constant pressure to prove oneself create conditions that make it difficult for children and young people in Germany to overcome socio-economic barriers. The consequences can be frustration, resignation, low self-esteem, and a lack of confidence in their own abilities.
The COVID-19 pandemic has further exacerbated these unequal opportunities and the associated mechanisms of social exclusion and societal divisions.

Sport creates opportunities
The project combines sport with a holistic educational concept to empower disadvantaged children and young people and enable them to actively participate. By organizing street football matches, they take on responsibility by setting their own rules and reflecting on their implementation together. Older participants are trained as Youth Leaders and help shape the project activities. In this way, young people from diverse backgrounds come into contact, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Sport serves as a starting point for encounters, shared learning, and lived integration. Children and young people experience how respectful and fair interaction can be achieved, break down prejudices, and gain positive experiences of community.
Who we work with
We've partnered with experts in providing global aid: vetted national and international aid organizations. We trust them because we can see exactly how they use the money. This way, we can be sure that our aid is reaching the right place.
