Snacking healthily and doing something good at the same time - that's what convinced captain of the women's national football team Alex Popp of share. This year, just before the start of the Women's Football World Cup in Australia, she has become a Product Ambassador for our organic lentil chips and wants to initiate change together with us and with you. Whether with friends at the public viewing of the Women's World Cup, hiking together or alone at the movie night - with our lentil chips, every snack occasion becomes a social commitment. Find out in the interview why this is particularly important to Alex and how she is committed to more justice and tolerance in football.
Why do you think Alex Popp and share go together so well? What do you associate with share?
share not only has super delicious products, but also shows a lot of social commitment. Every time I buy a bag of share lentil chips, I am doing something good - a principle that inspires me. Since I am also committed to more social justice and diversity, I think this partnership is a perfect fit.
We at share want to reduce social inequalities. Where do you see the greatest injustices in women's football compared to men's football? What still needs to be worked on ?
I think the biggest social inequality is the prevailing gender pay gap, which means that we women earn significantly less than the men in professional football. But the professional structures are also unequal. It is important to us to play football under professional and reasonable conditions and I am committed to this.
