Competition conditions of participation
1st participation
The organizer of the promotion is share GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "share").
Any natural person residing in Germany who is at least eighteen (18) years old and has full legal capacity at the time of participation (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant") is eligible to participate in the competition. Employees of share, GOT BAG GmbH, and Deutsche Bahn AG are excluded from participation.
Each participant can only enter the competition once and in their own name.
2. Purchase and participation period
The participation period is from June 15th to October 31st, 2025, 11:59 PM.
3. Prizes and Procedure
a) Profits
The following prizes will be raffled off:
50x DB travel vouchers worth €50 each
10x Got Bag carry-on suitcases Re:shell Cabin, each worth €199
20x share Travel Snacks worth approximately €25
A cash payout of the prize is not possible. Transfer of the prize to third parties is not possible.
b) Procedure of the competition
Participation in the competition is only possible via the website at share.eu/pages/db-aktion .
To participate in the competition, participants must provide their name, email address, and home address on the website during the specified period. Participation in the promotion is possible from June 15th to October 31st, 2025, at 11:59 PM, by entering the required data on the promotion page at share.eu/pages/db-aktion .
A person participates in the competition by fully completing the competition entry form and consenting to the collection and use of their data in accordance with the declaration of consent. The form must also be submitted to share using the "Participate Now" button. Participation by mail is not possible.
The winners will be determined by share or an agency commissioned by share through a random draw from all participants whose information is complete. The individual participant's chance of winning therefore depends significantly on the total number of participants in the competition during each entry period.
Winners will be notified by email and must confirm their prize by email by 11:59 PM on November 30, 2025. If a winner does not confirm their prize by 11:59 PM on November 30, 2025, the prize will be awarded to the alternate winner. The original winner's prize will be forfeited.
Participants are not entitled to any compensation from share in the event of disqualification due to a violation of applicable law and/or these terms and conditions of participation, or in the event of modification, suspension or termination of the competition by share.
Share and the participating agency accept no liability for data loss, especially during data transmission, and other technical defects.
The prize will be sent digitally to the specified email address by share or an agency commissioned by share, or, in the case of physical prizes, by post to the postal address provided by the winner, free of charge. Delivery of the prize is only possible to a valid address in Germany. For the purpose of sending the prizes “10x Got Bag Re:shell Cabin carry-on suitcases, each worth €199”, the winners' data will be forwarded to Got Bag GmbH.
4. Data protection
By participating, the participant declares that he has also read and accepted the data protection information.
- The personal data collected will only be used by share for the purpose of the prize draw, unless consent has been given to receive the newsletter.
- For the technical processing of the competition, share uses an external service provider. This provider is obligated to comply with applicable data protection regulations.
- Your personal data will be stored, used, and processed – subject to your consent to receive the newsletter – exclusively for participation in, execution of, and processing of the prize draw and in compliance with legal regulations. Personal data will not be shared with third parties not involved in organizing the prize draw. Upon request, share will provide each participant with free information about all personal data stored in connection with the prize draw and will promptly delete, block, or correct this data free of charge upon request. An informal message to legal@share.eu is sufficient for this purpose. By participating in the prize draw, you expressly consent to the storage and use of your personal data for the aforementioned purpose.
- The collection of personal data is for the purpose of conducting the prize draw. Additionally, the participant's personal data will be used, subject to their consent, to receive personalized information and offers if they have subscribed to the newsletter.
- We store the winners' personal data for six months after the end of the competition. Based on the participant's consent to receive our newsletter and, if applicable, to register a user account, we store their data for the purposes stated in the consent until the consent is withdrawn. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
- The data will be deleted after the aforementioned deadlines have expired or after consent has been withdrawn.
The legal basis for processing personal data in connection with the prize draw is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. If consent has been given for the use of data for marketing purposes, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
5. Other
These terms and conditions of participation, as well as the legal relationship between participants and share, are governed exclusively by German law. Should any individual provisions be or become legally invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. These terms and conditions of participation may be amended by share at any time without prior notice.
Share reserves the right to disqualify any person who provides false information when registering for the competition, manipulates or attempts to manipulate the competition, or otherwise violates these terms and conditions. Share may also modify, suspend, or terminate the competition if this becomes necessary due to force majeure or external circumstances beyond Share's control, or if this is the only way to ensure the proper conduct of the competition.
share reserves the right to change these terms and conditions of participation at any time and without prior notice. This includes early termination of the promotion. The changes will take effect upon publication of the amended terms and conditions of participation at share.eu/pages/db-aktion .
The organizer reserves the right to terminate the competition prematurely at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular if proper execution is not possible for technical or legal reasons. In this case, participants have no claims against share.
share reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition due to false information, manipulation or the use of unauthorized aids.
Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall remain unaffected.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.
Legal recourse is excluded, and cash payment of winnings is not possible.
