1. Participation

The organizer of the contest is share GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “share”). 

The contest is open to any natural person who is resident in Germany and has reached the age of eighteen (18) at the time of entering the contest and has unlimited legal capacity (hereinafter referred to as the “entrant”). Employees of share GmbH are excluded from participation.

Each entrant may participate in the contest only by using their own name and only once.

2. Participation period

The participation period runs from 02/07/2024 to 03/03/2024, 11:59 p.m. 

3. Survey, prizes and procedure

1. Survey

share will conduct an online survey from 02/07/2024 to 03/03/2024. The survey is designed to obtain information on online shopping preferences. The survey can be completed in a Google form. At the end of the Google form (Google forms), respondents have to enter their email address to take part in the contest.  

1. Prize

The following prize will be raffled:

• a voucher for the share online store https://share.eu/ in the amount of €50. The voucher can be redeemed until 12/31/2024.

Cash payment of the prize is not possible. The prize may not be transferred to third parties. The voucher may not be combined.

1. Contest

Participation in the contest is only possible by completing the Google form.

The winners will be selected at random from all complete entries. 

Winners will be notified by email and must respond by email within 10 working days to confirm their prize. If a winner does not confirm the prize within 10 working days, the prize will be passed on to the alternate winner. The prize of the original winner will be forfeited in this case.

In the event of disqualification due to a violation of applicable law and/or these terms and conditions of participation, as well as in the event of modification, suspension or termination of the contest by share GmbH, entrants shall not be entitled to any claims for compensation against share GmbH.

No liability is assumed for data loss, in particular in the course of data transmission and other technical defects. 

4. Data protection

By participating in the contest, the entrant declares that they have also read and accepted the data protection information.

5. Miscellaneous

These terms and conditions of participation and the legal relationship between the entrant and share are subject exclusively to German law. Should individual provisions be or become legally invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation. These terms and conditions of participation can be changed by share at any time without separate notification. 

share GmbH reserves the right to disqualify any person who provides false information when registering for the contest, manipulates or attempts to manipulate the contest or otherwise violates these terms and conditions of participation. share GmbH may also modify, suspend or terminate the contest due to force majeure or external circumstances beyond the control of share GmbH, or if this is the only way to ensure that the contest can be carried out in an orderly manner.

share reserves the right to change these terms and conditions of participation at any time and without prior notice. This shall include premature termination of the campaign. The change shall take effect upon publication of the amended terms and conditions of participation at https://share.eu/pages/gewinnspiel-teilnahmebedingungen/

Legal recourse is excluded. 

Data protection notice

share GmbH, Erkelenzdamm 59-61, 10999 Berlin (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “share”) informs you in accordance with Art. 13 of the GDPR that we process your personal data for the following purposes.

Purpose: Contest participation, provision of the voucher by email

Personal data: email address so that the voucher can be sent to the individual

Legal basis: Performance of the contract – Art. 6 (1)(b) of the GDPR

Consequences of failure to provide personal data: If you do not provide us with the personal data, you will not be able to participate in this contest.

Retention period: We will store your personal data for the duration of the contest and for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of the contest.

share uses a variety of technical and organizational methods to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable laws. To support this obligation, we have taken appropriate technical, physical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.

Your rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you are entitled to the following rights in relation to your personal data if the requirements are met:

Among other things, you are entitled (i) to verify whether and what personal data we hold about you and to obtain copies of such data, (ii) to request the rectification, completion or erasure of your personal data that is incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law, (iii) to require us to restrict the processing of your personal data, (iv) to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, (v) to request data portability, (vi) to withdraw consent at any time and (vii) to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority responsible for you.
