50,000 meals for World Food Day!

A small snack with a big impact
Small snack, big impact
With over 200 million in aid, share has already achieved a lot - and that's just the beginning. Together with Eurowings, we want to do even more good.

Every good deed counts
Every good deed counts
With every share product you automatically support people in need. This is also the case with the share drinks or the share snacks on board Eurowings. Because every share snack donates a meal and every drink donates a day's drinking water.

Our Impact
What we can achieve
Did you know that each of our products always contains a social donation? Let's look at India, the second most populous country in the world - with enormous cultural wealth. Did you know that over 100 different languages are spoken here? At the same time, however, there are drastic inequalities within the Indian population: despite significant economic growth, many people have no opportunity to eat a balanced diet and suffer from chronic malnutrition. Therefore, donate your snack to provide children with school meals.

A sip in the right direction
One day of drinking water
Are you wondering what exactly we mean by a day of drinking water? A day of clean drinking water is equivalent to at least 20 liters - the daily amount of water that a person needs at least according to the WHO. This means that everyone should have access to at least 20 liters of clean drinking water in order to be able to carry out daily needs such as drinking, cooking or personal hygiene. The water is provided by wells and pump systems that are newly built or repaired in the projects and are available to the people.

Action Against Hunger
Action Against Hunger (AgdH) has been fighting hunger in the world since 1979 and aims to save lives and give new hope to people in need. In addition to access to food, this also includes building wells and sanitation facilities, training people in healthy behavior and distributing hygiene products.

This access to a functioning water source can make a significant difference to the community, as clean drinking water impacts several aspects of sustainable development. In addition to good health, clean drinking water also enables girls to attend school or women to work outside the home. This is because women and girls are traditionally responsible for fetching water and often have to travel long distances to do so. If these journeys are drastically shortened, girls can use this time to go to school. Education gives them better opportunities for social and economic participation, which in turn weakens dependency and can reduce poverty.
